Lauren's Journey: From Fashion to Pilates

Lauren spent over a decade immersed in the high-energy world of corporate fashion, traveling internationally for much of the year. While she loved the excitement of her career, the demanding schedule took a toll on her body. In 2004, she found Pilates, a practice that not only helped her stay strong and flexible but also provided a much-needed sense of balance. Pilates brought Lauren a feeling of power and peace in her body.
What started as a way to maintain her health soon became a passion. No matter where she
was—New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Melbourne, or Buenos Aires—Lauren sought out top instructors, refining her skills and deepening her understanding of the classical Pilates method.
In 2015, after relocating from New York to Orlando, she made the decision to turn that passion into a full-time career. Lauren received over 700 hours of intensive training with Senior Teacher Trainers Jennifer O’Mara, David Freeman and Brett Howard. In 2016 she became a certified instructor through the Classical Pilates USA™ Teacher Certification Program. Now, with nearly a decade of teaching experience, Lauren is dedicated to guiding others in discovering the transformative benefits of Pilates. Her approach is rooted in the Classical Pilates method, focusing on strength, mobility and a deep mind-body connection.
For Lauren, Pilates took on an even deeper meaning when she was diagnosed with psoriatic
arthritis, a condition that could have been limiting, but instead reinforced her belief in Classical Pilates as a tool for longevity, resilience, and healing. The low-impact nature of this movement allows her to maintain muscle strength, protect her joints, and keep moving without unnecessary stress. Beyond Pilates, she enjoys yoga, rebounding, being in nature and meditation, all practices that compliment her commitment to holistic well-being.
Lauren strives to empower others to move with confidence, develop strength, and cultivate a
sense of balance that extends beyond the studio and into their daily lives.
